CA Members would like to congratulate Opinion Stage on its superb survey tool. We found it very quick and easy to set up on our own WordPress members website and have been impressed with how professional the results are. Every possible question type for our needs was covered, and this is without tapping into its abilities to include photos etc. We much appreciate how Opinion Stage keeps things simple but without taking away any functionality. Other providers could learn from this philosophy.
In short, we are more than happy to be included on the long list of 5-star reviews.

“Add New” When pressed, page darkens and a small wheel starts spinning. Have deactivated and reactivated with no change in results. Have searched Forums and scanned several Forum pages without finding an exact match for this issue.

It’s true that we (including you) shouldn’t expect too much from a free theme or anything that is free like yours. I’m not your customer nor using your free themes. I just don’t like the way you replying people who complained your free themes. At least you shouldn’t be showing a theme design that doesn’t work like when people installed on their blogs. I believe that the more people know your themes, the more you’ll get one-star reviews here if you don’t stop tricking people with your beautiful free theme demo but zero for the people. I even can make one hundred beautiful themes ten times more than like yours.

When i display 3×3 images at bottom of post they are left aligned.

How can i make images centered at post bottom?

Hi all,

I installed the RedHat Collection MySQL57-RH in my Linux.

I installed WordPress-4.9.8 and used this variable in wp-config.php to define MySQL57 as default:

define(‘DB_HOST’, ‘localhost:/var/lib/mysql/mysql57.sock’);

All is working well and WordPress’s extension Duplicator is using MySQL57.

I am trying to install Wordfence extension and it uses the default MySQL from “/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock”. I connot find the same kind of parameter as in WordPress for Wordfence.

I created a file in /etc/profile.d/ to define MySQL57 as the default for the use of MySQL but still, Wordfence does not use MySQL57.

Any suggestion appreciated,

Hi All,

I have been troubleshooting for hours but can’t figure out why there is a blue rectangle appearing under the book now button at the bottom of this page: https://newtourleans.com/90-min-french-quarter-tour-map. If you go to https://newtourleans.com/french-quarter-tour-map you will see there is no blue rectangle under the book now button at the bottom of that page.

At first, I thought this was a footer issue, but changing the footer color to white did not resolve the problem.

I even tried saving the layout of https://newtourleans.com/french-quarter-tour-map and then creating a new page by uploading the layout. After I saved the new page (as a draft), I looked at it in preview and the blue box was then there under the book now button. It’s weird as if the blue rectangle button is some kind of vestige that is being copied over automatically even though it doesn’t exist in the page being copied.

Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated!

Hi

I’m trying to get the strings translated on a child theme.

I already translated everything at the parent theme until I decided to use a child theme.

The theme is called onepress. So I got the child theme from Github

I tried a couple of things but nothing changed. It’s just the strings anything else is working fine.

So, I added the languages folder in my child theme path and added nearly every possibility of .mo, .po and .pot files. Same for the root path of the child-theme.
I changed to onepress-child-*.mo etc in both directorys and so on.

In my function.php I added a few things but same thing … nothing changed.
I don’t really know what I’m doing, that’ll be the problem here. But it would be great to get a few hints to get this sorted.

Using elementor, I pissed off OceanWP and caused a “specificity issue”. I had elementor investigate my website and they said it was a theme issue. There is conflicting code somewhere (that I didn’t make) that caused hover on the right side of topbar to stop working. Somebody made me custom CSS to fix it, but I don’t want to continue with a theme if I’m going to run into these types of issues in a week when I will have traffic on the sight. Why did the theme cause this issue? How do I fix it WITHOUT CSS?

I made a flipcard, a slider and product grid in elementor – then it started happening out of nowhere.

I moved all files to a subdoomain, moved them back, read all the forums, got custom CSS, deactivated every plugin and reinstalled (which caused me a slew of other issues), patted my head and rubbed my belly at the same time – nothing….

Help?

Hello.

I notice people have raised this particular issue/topic in the past within this forum, but in each instance the post has been closed (and apparently left unresolved?), so I’m posting this topic again for assistance.

Wordpress v4.9.8
Template Semplice v4

I installed SCPOrder (and enabled it in the wp-admin Settings) so that I could theoretically reorder Projects manually within the Portfolio section.

Although I am indeed able to drag.n.drop the Projects into a different order within back-end wp-admin, it doesn’t actually adjust the order on the publicly facing front-end view. I’ve noticed other people complain about this, apparently when they updated their WordPress to v4.9.

I’d appreciate any advice and help in this matter.

Hi guys,

Can you let me know how I make the social sharing icons larger (fb, twitter etc)?
I’m using the hover effect “Appear” and the social icons in the demo image in the admin Dashboard are pretty big. However, when they appear in my gallery they are barely visible.

Is there a way to increase the size?
My blog post is not live yet, so I can give you the link for the moment.

EDIT: I’ve just noticed that when I click on the social icon when useing “Appear”, I am not promped to the sharing window. The only thing that happens is that the photo opens in the FancyBox. When I use “Comodo” effect, the sharing windows does appear.
