1. Installed brandnew WP site in Dutch
2. Installed Evolve theme.
3. Saw on my new site that the Posts “READ MORE” button text was still English
4. Checked the Evolve language files and found: wp-content/themes/evolve/languages/nl_NL.mo
5. Installed Loco Translate which found the 100% translated Dutch language file for Evolve theme. Also the “READ MORE” strings were translated in Dutch.
6. Being puzzeled why the frontend did not show the”READ MORE” string in Dutch I pressed in Loco Translate the “SYNC” button……. oeps, most translations gone (language file 8% translated!)
7. In Loco Translate I manually translated a few strings and they appear now in the frontend in Dutch….. but still I am stucked with an only 8% translated language file.
What did I do wrong here?
