Missing “image” from Google Rich Card Structured Data Markup

We have noticed that this plugin throws an error on Google’s Structured Data Testing Tool as well as in Google Search Console’s Search Appearance/Rich Cards section. It says that the plugin does not provide the “image” markup. We have set a featured image for the recipes, but the plugin still does not seem to generate this markup. Your example recipes on your website seem to fail this as well. See this link.

Are we configuring something incorrectly? Is there any way we can get this fixed?
