Cannot combine hover.css with this plugin

Some Hover.css tricks can be combined with anything which use pair tags (a href, button) but cannot work with things build up on single tags (input type=button). This is due to :before and :after can be used only on pair tags.

Can you change “input type=button” tag style to “button” style? It will work seemless I think.
