Since I upgraded to Woocommerce 3.x (I’m currently running 3.0.5) the add-ons do not show up in the order details. They do however show up on the shop front-end and also in the order review during checkout, but not when viewing orders on the backend, not in the order history on the front-end and not in the order notification emails.
Looking into the database it seems that the add-ons no longer are added to the woocommerce_order_itemmeta table. For older orders they are there all right, but not for the orders processed after the Woocommerce 3.x upgrade.
