Do you happen to know the event hooks I should use to log MainWP events in Simple History?
I’d like to log the MainWP Dashboard plugin’s events in the Dashboard site so I can track updates and edits made to child sites through MainWP.
I’d also like to log the MainWP Child plugin’s events in the Simple History plugin installed in each child site so that I can clearly see a specific username next to events initiated by MainWP. At the moment Simple History logs many events as being initiated/run by WordPress and not MainWP or the MainWP user e.g. WordPress updated plugin x or WordPress updated theme 123 instead of User X updated plugin/theme x/123.
Actually, as I write this, I’m wondering whether it might be easier to build a Simple History Dashboard plugin that parses the Simple History RSS feed of each site. If this had a template system for report generation and a report emailer option it would be incredibly useful with or without a specific centralized WordPress management app like MainWP or InfinteWP.
On another note…
The Simple History readme file contains a link to your other CMS plugins (“More WordPress CMS plugins by the same author.”). It currently opens up https://wordpress.org/plugins/search/profile/. Thought I’d let you know.
