screwed up domain name in wordpress general tab

Hi,

I uploaded the site to a sub-directory called /site.

When I went in to the back end of the site, I clicked on the General settings and saw the domain name with /site at the end and misread the note thinking that I could delete that part so users would only see the main domain but instead I got a 404 message and lost all access to edit the site!! Please help….
