Custom Button Without Affecting Checkout Button

I’ve created a custom button as illustrated here – http://docs.easydigitaldownloads.com/article/254-custom-button-images – and it works great.

The problem is that it also affects the “Purchase” button at checkout. Is there a way to change one but not the other? They both seem to have the .edd-submit selector.
